TOPIC: The Necessity Of Dominion (Seeds Of Destiny 3 March 2025)

SCRIPTURE: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:26

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You have what you want the way you want it by dominion.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that man was created to function in dominion. God gave man a dominion mandate to govern the earth. His primary purpose for creating man was for man to have and exercise dominion over the earth. He wants man to exercise divine authority and command on the behalf of His Kingdom.

The Hebrew word for “dominion” means at least these seven things:

To subjugate;
To crumble off;
To have dominion;
To reign;
To rule;
To be over (or to be on top);
And to take charge.

Knowing that we have been created to have dominion, what then should we do with this dominion?

1. We rule and reign by dominion.
   We rule and reign on earth and over every circumstance of life by dominion.
2. We have it the way we want it by dominion. Life is not determined by external forces but by the dominion we exercise. Witches, ancestral powers, or external forces do not dictate the outcomes of our lives. We have what we want the way we want it by dominion. We are to function unchallenged by the forces of darkness or external circumstances.
3. We dismantle yokes and bondages by dominion.
   Ancestral yokes, generational curses, bloodline patterns, and mysteries are dismantled by dominion.
4. We destroy the adversary’s agenda through dominion.
   By dominion, we break the back of the devil and bring all his activities under our feet.
5. We take our place in life and destiny by dominion: Through dominion, we take our rightful place in life and destiny. To be distinct from others and fulfill destiny, dominion is required.

My counsel to you is, make up your mind to exercise the dominion mandate God has given you, so you can become all that He has destined you to be.

Remember this: You have what you want the way you want it by dominion.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Believe and accept the dominion mandate God has entrusted to you on earth.
2. Exercise every aspect of your dominion mandate in God.

PRAYER: Father, I believe in the dominion mandate You have given me. I receive the grace to exercise it so I can have it in life the way I want it, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
